Scoop! Of Inadequate Parking

Remember, you read it here first! The prediction that the new multi-million dollar parking garage on Oak Street would be too small appeared months ago in these very pages. And as you can clearly see from the exclusive Alameda Daily Noose photo above, the prediction was dead on; there is scarcely a space to be found on an average day, even on the second level. Sure, a person could go all the way to the third or fourth level, and face an interminable delay at the one, inadequate elevator, but who has the patience to look that hard for a parking space? And if you think the garage is crowded now, just wait until the Super-Mega-Monster-Plex That Everyone Hates opens! Clearly, the City of Alameda has no idea how to plan for parking that will be useful for Right-Thinking citizens.
