How dare the registrations for the baseball leagues be closed. Every kid from 6 to 96 should be allowed to play baseball during the summer months.

Yet another example of the City Council not paying attention. I think we need a public forum to discuss the short and long term effects on traffic this will have. I mean really, all these people with nothing to do this summer. They'll clog the streets and no one will be able to get anywhere.

NFD, you're so right... Now that I think about it, THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!

Why was the registration closed without a public meeting? And was a subcommittee involved somehow...a SECRET subcommittee? WHAT IS BOB JACKSON TRYING TO HIDE?

Bob Jackson and his T-Ball/Farm comrades in arms have been making all of these important decisions behind closed doors, in smoke filled rooms. The rules for open baseball are being abused in this burgh and the citizens are mad as hell, and we're not going to take it any more. The dishonesty of closed sports, the rubber stamp support of whatever Big Baseball wants done, it all has to stop!
